Before appointment day

A few minutes of preparation makes the entire appointment run better.

Vanta brings the professional equipment, products and detailing process to your home. You provide a safe place to work, access to outdoor water and a standard electrical outlet.

Preparing the vehicle ahead of time prevents delays and allows the appointment to stay focused on the cleaning, restoration and protection included in your service.

You do not need to clean the vehicle before Vanta arrives.
Leave stains, pet hair, spills and problem areas visible so the vehicle’s actual condition can be assessed accurately.

The four essentials

What Vanta needs when we arrive.

These items protect appointment time, equipment access and the quality of the finished result.

01

Your vehicle at home

Standard mobile appointments are completed at the customer’s home, not at a workplace or public parking lot.

02

Safe working space

Park in a driveway or approved residential area with enough room to open every door and move safely around the vehicle.

03

Outdoor water

Provide access to a working outdoor water connection within practical reach of the parked vehicle.

04

Standard power

Provide access to a working standard electrical outlet within practical reach of the detailing area.

Vehicle checklist

Clear the vehicle without precleaning it.

01

Remove valuables and important items

Take out cash, personal documents, electronics, firearms and anything you do not want moved or accidentally discarded.

02

Empty the areas being detailed

Clear cup holders, door pockets, seats and the trunk or cargo area if those spaces are included in your service.

03

Remove child seats when possible

Removing car seats before arrival gives better access to the seat, carpet and surrounding trim. Vanta does not reinstall child safety seats.

04

Make the keys available

The vehicle may need to be started, repositioned or opened during service. Please remain reachable if you will not be outside.

05

Secure pets and clear the work area

Keep pets and children safely away from equipment, cords, hoses and chemicals while the appointment is underway.

06

Do not vacuum or wipe problem areas

The original condition helps confirm the right service and keeps hidden damage from being mistaken for detailing related damage.

Accurate expectations

Tell Vanta about difficult conditions before arrival.

Some conditions require extra labor, specialty treatment or a different package. Clear photos and an honest description allow Vanta to confirm the service and price before the work begins.

Interior buildupHeavy pet hair, sand, staining, spills or excessive debris
Odor concernsSmoke, mildew, food, pet or biological odors
Material conditionCracked leather, loose trim, damaged upholstery or failing adhesives
Exterior conditionFailing clear coat, oxidation, deep scratches or delicate aftermarket parts

Weather and drying

Plan for Utah conditions.

Wind, rain, snow, extreme heat and freezing temperatures can affect mobile detailing. Keep your phone nearby in case unsafe conditions require the appointment time to be adjusted or rescheduled.

If carpet extraction or seat shampooing is part of the service, drying time depends on the material, temperature, airflow and weather. Vanta minimizes excess moisture and will explain any ventilation recommendations after the detail.

You do not need to wait outside.

Once access to the vehicle, water and power is confirmed, you can continue your day at home. Please remain reachable in case Vanta finds a condition that needs your approval.
