Professional mobile headlight restoration
Bring clarity back
to cloudy headlights.
Controlled restoration for yellowed, hazy and oxidized headlight lenses, finished with protection to help preserve the improvement.
Headlight Restoration
A focused exterior service that improves lens clarity and vehicle appearance.
UV exposure gradually breaks down the original outer surface of plastic headlight lenses. Vanta removes suitable exterior oxidation, progressively refines the surface and applies protection to help preserve the restored finish.
The restoration process
Controlled correction from assessment to protection.
The exact refinement stages depend on lens condition. Surrounding paint and trim are protected before the damaged exterior layer is addressed.
Lens assessment
Exterior oxidation is separated from internal damage, cracking, moisture and housing failure.
Area preparation
The lens is cleaned and surrounding painted and trim surfaces are protected.
Oxidation removal
The failed exterior layer is reduced using a controlled process matched to the deterioration.
Progressive refinement
The surface is refined through appropriate stages to reduce sanding marks and restore clarity.
Lens polishing
Final polishing improves transparency and produces a cleaner, more uniform appearance.
Protective finish
Protection is applied to help slow renewed UV related deterioration after restoration.
A strong fit for
Choose restoration for exterior lens deterioration.
Yellowed headlight lenses
Visible UV related discoloration on the outside surface of plastic headlight assemblies.
Cloudy or hazy lenses
Exterior deterioration that reduces transparency and makes an otherwise clean vehicle look tired.
Before sale vehicle presentation
A focused improvement that can make the front of the vehicle look cleaner and better maintained.
Exterior detail finishing touch
A useful addition when cloudy headlights distract from an otherwise improved exterior.
Realistic expectations
Not every headlight problem can be corrected externally.
Restoration addresses suitable deterioration on the outside of the lens. Internal haze, reflector damage, moisture inside the housing, failed seals, deep cracking and heat damage may remain.
Severely deteriorated lenses can improve without returning to new condition. Cracked, leaking or structurally damaged assemblies may need repair or replacement instead of detailing.
Headlight restoration FAQs
Know what restoration can,and cannot,fix.
These answers help determine whether surface restoration or headlight replacement is the better solution.
Can every cloudy headlight be restored?
No. Exterior oxidation can often be improved, but internal haze, deep cracks, moisture intrusion, heat damage and failed housings may require replacement.
Will restoration improve nighttime visibility?
Clearer lenses may improve usable light transmission, but restoration cannot repair weak bulbs, wiring, alignment, projectors or damaged internal reflectors.
How long will the restored clarity last?
Longevity depends on UV exposure, parking, weather, maintenance and the protection applied. No exterior headlight protection is permanent.
Do you restore taillights or fog lights?
Some exterior plastic lenses may be suitable for a similar process. Send photos so Vanta can confirm the material and condition before service.
Can you fix moisture inside the headlight?
No. Moisture inside the assembly usually indicates a seal, vent or housing problem that must be repaired separately.
